2015 Hot Haunts...

It's a new year and with that comes a whole host of fabulous new haunts for us all to frequent! London seems to be excelling itself with a new name being banded around every week, which of course means there's tonnes of fun to be had!
It's hard to find the motivation to brave the bitter wintry weather, however truffle toast, banana bread smothered in whipped butter and a bar dedicated to espresso martinis are quite enough to get me off my sofa and out of the door!
I can already feel that 2015 is going to be pretty legendary - with Dubai, New York, Croatia and Hong Kong already booked, I need to make sure I don't forget about my original love - London...who am I kidding? That would never happen!!!

If you hadn't guessed already, us Robinson girls LOVE to plan! An agenda is already being pulled together for our April NYC reunion and that's still two months away! So, as you can imagine our diaries for every day life are bursting at the seams with plans, reservations and must-dos! Our current hot spots to hit up on the coming weeks are...
There's nothing more that my girls and I love than a killer brunch, and even better if it comes with bottomless booze (for an extra £25 pp). We've pretty much exhausted our current favs and need a newbie to capture our hearts, tummies and coordination...and hotbox looks to be the perfect match.
Fellow blogger Rosie Londoner caught our attention with these drool worthy pics on her recent post and we were immediately in lust, love and everything in between...

Chez Chow

The people behind the cute and cosy North Audley Cantine have added another notch to their belt with the brand new Chez Chow. A basement bar beneath the restaurant with one fabulous theme...their dog - Teddy the Chow Chow! Located in Mayfair, this laid back space has an Asian-inspired theme with a killer sounding bar snack menu and delicious cocktails.

I'll have a homemade G&T with a side of Chow's Asian pork belly sliders please...yum!

Doors have just opened for the soft launch (try it now, and get 50% off), with the official opening date being Friday 13th February!

Dead Dolls Club Islington

One of our favourite East London hangouts has been forced to close their doors and, rumour has it, to make way for office space...yawn! However, if anything, those naughty developers have done us all a favour as Adam and Kate (the brains behind DDC) have managed to bag the space currently held by House of Wolf on Upper Street.

Doors will open on 20th February to a brand new three story residence, 4am license, jazz Thursdays and Sundays, a members' ballroom in the attic, DJs playing Fridays and Saturdays and my favourite bit, an espresso martini bar!!!

I think they'll find it tricky to keep us away, I already can't wait to see what they've done with the space and the fact there's a dedicated members' attic makes me feel oh so special...!

Check out membership here - you won't regret it!

Kitty Fisher's

Until now Kitty Fisher's Wood Grill has somehow not flagged on my radar. Opening just before Christmas, this cute Mayfair eatery looks to die for.

Tomos Parry of Climpson's Arch and Chris Leach of Pitt Cue Co have joined forces to create this tiny work of genius ...and we mean teeny, with six tables upstairs and five bar stools downstairs, bag one of these babies and youreally do have the hottest seats in town!

The menu is precise, but sounds lip-smackingly good and after reading the recent Telegraph review I will 100% be ordering the steak for two...in their words - "...sliced into trembling rouge-pink slices, edged with a darkly caramelized crust. Along side were cups of black rimmed onion...filled with meaty juices. It was rich, tender, and intensely beefy with (maybe I’m imagining it) just a hint of dairy cheesiness. Bloody lovely..."

Booking is tricky, as you can imagine, so get dialling quick smart so that you stand a chance of getting in this year!

And last but by no means least...

Blixen

What we all need in our life...a chilled-out London spot which takes us from breakfast right through to nightcaps!

Blixen is brought to us by Clive Watson, the brains behind one of 3BM favs, The Riding House Cafe. Simply put, the food is awesome, the cocktails are divine and the decor is laid-back chic. Thankfully it sounds like Blixen will cover all the above but from Spitalfields instead.

Housed in an old bank, there will be high ceilings, lots of lights and even an outdoor terrace. What's more they take bookings and the menu sounds spot-on covering off all our favourites but with a few twists to keep us coming back for more! They'll be serving up breakfast, lunch, dinner, juices, coffee and cocktails...talk about a one-stop shop!

I'm most excited for the toasted banana bread with whipped butter, and the
rhubarb meringue roulade with pistachio ice cream doesn't sound too bad either! We've got a reservation this weekend so we'll be sure to report back shortly!
