Raunchy & Ripped...

...jeans of course!

A re-emerging trend that is literally tearing up the highstreets right now! When it comes to this look there are lots of questions to be asked before diving right in...

How ripped is too ripped? Discreetly distressed, square cut outs or knee slash shredded - there are many styles to choose from...

Skinny or boyfriend cut? If you're look is more casual opt for big and baggy. More sophisticated then go for slender, straight-up and tight fitting OR if you're in two minds go for both...

Dressed up or dressed down? Pair with killer strappy heels, a cashmere tee and a sharp blazer for a fierce n fabulous look or dress down with espadrilles and a effortlessly chic round-neck jumper. Both do it for me...

For some inspiration I turned to Pinterest and key street style portals to gather some picture porn. Always a good starting point I find when i'm umming and ahhing over whether to invest in a trend of not...

Sold? I was and to prove it here's my Topshop attempt at the trend in pictures. As you'll see i've opted for the skinny styled straight-up kind of look...

The jeans were a snip at just £40 - Jamie cut, high waisted. Super comfy and they fit like a glove too. Although I did, I found it difficult to stop at purchasing just one pair as they have them in an array of colours and different styles too including boyfriend slouchy ones.

What you waiting for - Go. Rip. Create.

Watch out jeans!

SS14 Trend: Gypset

We've saved our favourite SS14 trend for last. Step up luxed-up boho - one part folk, a dash of tribal with a hefty gold-plated side of jet set sheen.

This season who doesn't want to be the glossy, bronzed girls who stalked down the Valentino catwalk in Milan in a swoosh of fringed leather and a jangle of chunky astrological jewellery?

We want to copy everything about the Valentino look from the tops of the models' braid-crowned heads right down to the tips of their astro-sandalled toes.

A myriad of sun-soaked Coachella snaps of long-limbed Californian girls decked out in boho-luxe loveliness has only made us even more intent on making this year the summer of gypset. The only issue? Distinctly un-Valentino budgets. While we may just manage to stretch to a real deal starsign ring, the rest of the look is going to have to be sourced from the highstreet. Luckily our fav affordable fashion stalwarts seem to be as head over heels with this trend as us. Here are our top picks for gypset style without breaking the bank...

3BM Eats : 8 Hoxton Square...

If you've heard of and experienced the supremely tasty food from 10 Greek Street in Soho then i'm happy to share that there's a new sibling in town - 8 Hoxton Square. Even better it's a stone throw away from our East London Mouse pad! We decided to check it out by day AND by night, why not, to see if it lived up to the high standard's set by 10.

Firstly: by day, on a Saturday morning when the sun was shining...

Similar vibe to 10 - cosy, industrial, achingly cool and shining happy staff. The only big difference is 8 is double the size and has an outdoor courtyard for alfresco dining - my fav!

More room = amble room for sweet details...

Milk bottle water bottles - tick!

Mouth-watering breakfast treats - double tick!

School style tables and chairs...

Mini mouse salivating over the menu in her Tom Ford's, statement Zara necklace and 'Do Epic Chic' tee ever so beautifully...

It was a tough choice with lots of scrummy creations to choose from but we both ended up opting for a full english breakfast which was super duper yum...

...And by night

I'm happy to report it's just as spectacular! On a Friday night after a tough week at work, this is the perfect spot to catch up with friends over some red wine and look forward to two blissful days to come...

Our favourite dishes to report were asparagus, egg yolk ravioli topped with truffle shavings for starters...

Followed by Welsh black beef, duck fat potatoes, St George mushrooms and horseradish. Rare, pack full of flavour and served up on a sweeter than sweet floral platter...

In summary. Go. You won't regret it!
