This Week The Mice Have Mostly Been...

Firstly...

Secondly, thank God all of us in the UK survived the week of the St.Jude storm! It was no surprise that Britain couldn't cope and the transport network fell to pieces... quite surreal for what was a pretty sunny day at my offices in West London!

When we haven't been battling through gail force winds and barricading ourselves in (ok we didn't do this...) this week The Mice have mostly been...

Carving works of art from poor little pumpkins and feeling pretty pleased with the results! Weirdly we've never ever carved a pumpkin! Not as baby Mice and not once in the intervening years... For some reason despite the fact that us Mice usually always get involved in every other celebration or opportunity for fancy dress, Halloween just hasn't been one of them. This may have something to do with Daddy Mouse deeming it a waste of time, but this still doesn't stop him putting on a witch hat and hairy moster gloves to scare the local children trick or treating at the front door!

So this year Middle Mouse decided we'd stop being such Halloween haters! I must admit, I took some persuading, I'm not the most artistic and Made In Chelsea dramas were demanding my attention, but, I eventually caved! After an hour of chopping, drawing, carving and tidying I eventually unveiled my creation...I think even middle mouse was impressed! See our pumpkins below...

Next year I'm going for something more along the lines of this....

Celebrating in style after being selected as one of the lucky few ASOS insiders! If, like us, you're obsessed with the fashion giant ASOS, then I think we have some news you’ll be very interested in…

A little while back we applied to be part of the #AccessAllASOS club and have been waiting with baited breathe ever since in the hope that we'd be granted access to this insider hub of amazingness! Well we’re happy to report that at the end of last week we received this uber cute boxful of goodies and a handwritten note from ASOS to let us know WE'D MADE IT!

So in short we will now be given exclusive behind the scenes access to all new collections and will be invited to lots of exciting events! Sounds good for us but how do you benefit? Well we promise to share this news with you first and foremost – pinky promise! AND the second part of the good news is it’s not just for bloggers but for all loyal fans of the online store. ASOS wants to reward the style-obsessed who genuinely love the brand with the hope that that you'll also spread that love far and wide. 2013 applications are now closed, but if you’re keen to get in on the action, you can apply here for 2014. The only rules are you need to be over 16 and a UK resident. GO GO GO!

Furiously getting our work done and freeing up our social schedules for the arrival of HK Mouse. She's jetting back for work and of course making as much time possible for some Mice fun!

As always the schedule is jam packed so hopefully some glowing reviews will be winging their way to your screen soon! We've got champagne brunches, new hotel bars, a dinner with a twist, trusty fav 10 Greek Street and one we're pretty intrigued about - a bar where we'll be swapping a china dog for membership and entry!

In the spirit of fully embracing sister time together, we've decided to take a well earned week's break from the blog. We'll be back with a bang on Monday 11th November when we'll be sharing all our adventures with you!

And on that note all that's left to say is...

Lots of Love
The Mice
