And as the dust settles, I'm gleefully spying plenty of opportunities for accumulating even more stuff... dark corners here requiring a new lamp, empty shelves there requiring a new pair of shoes (or eight) and lots and lots of blank, white walls crying out to be hung with pretty pictures.
Although I have a few prints and paintings already, I seem to have more walls than ever before that need a bit of brightening, so over the last few days the hunt has been on for new and exciting things to adorn the whiteness. Countless hours of Pinterest surfing and general web browsing has yielded lots of lovely prints and photographs which will hopefully be framed and hung before too long. I've also happily rediscovered a little design company that I stumbled upon last year and had somehow completely forgotten...
Crispin Finn are a design duo who whose graphic work is always produced in the timelessly fresh colour combo of red, white and blue. I fell head over heels for the Crispin Finn Breakfast at Tiffany's print last year and popped it on my very last minute Christmas list. It may not have shown up in my stocking on December 25th, but there's nothing better than a little self-gifting and it's almost the six month anniversary of Christmas Day... (tenuous shopping excuses are my forte in case that wasn't already apparent...).
