Juicy Fashion Collaboration...

Last week, I was sent into a fashion frenzy when a 60’s inspired silk colour-popping dress landed on my desk packaged up in a Richard Nicoll box! Cue the girly squeals of delight echoing around me from my fellow PR colleagues - the best kind of distraction any girl could wish for during the 3pm work slump!

Along with my new fabulous frock came a bottle of Trop50 from Tropicana. Confused as to how the iconic fashion designer, Richard Nicoll and the juice brand could possibly share any common ground? Well read on and all will be crystal clear…

To celebrate the launch of Trop50, which is a new juice blend containing 50% less sugar and calories than regular juice, Tropicana and British designer Richard Nicoll joined forces to release a limited edition version of Nicoll’s trademark Stella t-shirt dress. To explain further, the thinking behind the collaboration is that Trop50 is for the fashion conscious individual hence the idea to design a limited edition run of Tropicana hue inspired dresses. Only 50 were produced mind, playing homage to the Trop50 juice name! The dresses went on sale in Feb via Atelier-to-go.com exclusively for £555 a pop with all profits raised going to Fashion Targets Breast Cancer; the leading charity fashion campaign by Breakthrough Breast Cancer. With almost 50,000 women being diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK, I can’t think of a better cause.

More on the dress I hear you cry! OK so to set the scene, Twiggy would totally have rocked this dress back in the 60’s. Featuring a zingy orange and pink floral print, the Nicoll design is not for the shy or timid! The dress is One Size and is designed to be oversized and billowing - team with a killer pair of Charlotte Olympia stilettos to complete the look, well that's what I intend to do anyway!
