This Week The Mice Have Mostly Been...

I think it goes without saying that this week has been full of out and out mice overexcitement as wait for it....we're all going on holiday today!!!!

Not only are we getting away from our relentless jobs and the bitter cold weather, but we'll once again be reunited, our favourite thing in the whole wide world! Here's hoping for sunshine, cocktails, relaxing, lots of safari leopard sightings and of course unearthing 3BM blog gems to report back about on our return!

When we haven't been boasting, gloating and generally annoying everyone in the office, this week the Mice have mostly been...

Tuning into our new guilty pleasure....The Carrie Diaries! I refer to it as a guilty pleasure as firstly it's aimed at a much younger teen audience than my 27 years and secondly because the reviews haven't been too complimentary! It's based on a 16 year old Carrie Bradshaw and follows her school years and second life as an intern at a New York law firm. It replicates the same set-up as SATC with Carrie's narration in each episode, boy dilemmas and teen heartbreak being the centre of their world and a close knit circle of girlfriends...I know I shouldn't enjoy it but I can't help it...it is harmless, fun and sweet!

My favourite part is obviously the fashion, even though it's based on Carrie at sixteen she's just as stylish as the grown up version as is her fashion editor pal, Larrissa... I wish I had a wardrobe like this at sixteen...scratch that I wish I had it now! Plus I love that they've done total justice to the famously amazing Carrie hair...

Excitably planning the feast weekend of all weekends...after discovering the amazing Disappearing Weekends concept! Your home for the weekend is the Great Barn located in East Devon just outside of Branscombe, literally a 3BM heaven...cosy, beautifully decorated and a lazy weekend of expert cooking and friends! The house sleeps four to six people in three double bedrooms and your view of the sea from the outdoor decking area is picture postcard perfect!

The cost is £250 pp for the weekend and this includes your accommodation, a three course supper on Friday evening when you arrive, breakfast, Saturday evening cocktails and a five course dinner with Sunday Brunch and Bloody Marys the next morning...amazing huh? And that's not even the best of it, the house comes complete with your very own personal chef and bartender for the weekend, Jonny Jefferson who has previously worked for Tapas Brindisa, Mark Hix and Groucho Club! I can't think of anything more perfect than relaxing in an idyllic setting whilst being served up culinary creations by a complete pro! His partner Alan and Ralph the dog are also enlisted to help your weekend go smoothly, just wait until you see Ralph he's a total little cutie!

Fill your days with adventures at the beach, pub lunches and country walks or just kick back and spend lazy days loafing on the sofa before the evening extravaganza begins! All sounds too good to be true? And I haven't even divulged yet that it's BYO...! But if you can't bear the thought of lugging a load of booze with you then just let Jonny know, and he'll arrange a drink delivery for you!!

Check out all the details on the website and get in there fast, we're seriously considering moving in permanently...

Bidding a final farewell...for a few weeks at least whilst we totally and utterly relax on a beautiful Sri Lankan beach...we've all got our paws tightly crossed for sunshine and absolutely NO rain!!

As all three of us are away at the same time there obviously won't be any Mice to keep you all up-to-date on the goings on in 3BM world. But worry not, rather than leaving you all high and dry, we thought we'd enlist some super duper guest Mice to blogsit and keep you company while we're away! They'll commence the takeover from Monday....I have a feeling they are going to be pretty good at this so please try not to forget us too quickly!

Without further ado, I introduce you to the fabulous Jo and Lucinda!

Enjoy! And we'll see you on the other side when we're fully relaxed, restored and bursting with exciting stories to tell!
