Last night I was lucky enough to be invited by the very lovely Casey and Pannee of Butterboom to cocktails at Zuma to celebrate the opening of Isabel Marant's third store in Hong Kong.
Sleek and minimalist with polished concrete floors and lots of white, the new store has been designed in collaboration with the Parisian design group, Ciguë. The simple interior is the perfect partner to Marant's trophy jackets, earthy knits and bleached denims. We're still pining over the Fringed Snake Boots, a spree to celebrate the new store may just be in order...

Last night Hong Kong's fashionistas were out in full force at Zuma to toast the new store and were clearly very thirsty. Within an hour the bar had run out of glasses and were serving cocktails in wine glasses. Fashionably late, Isabel Marant arrived in a Wolf embroidered gilet over an Ilona gold dress (both from her SS12 line). Realising that Kelly Chen had arrived sans Marant, Isabel whipped off her gilet and passed it over to the Hong Kong Cantopop singer and actress ready for her photocall.
What we drank: Mojitos and Perrier-Jouët Champagne.
What we danced to: Old school eighties tunes - vintage Madonna and Kylie.
Who we spotted: Kelly Chen and Florinda Ho.
What we loved: the Isabel Marant photo booth (we weren't quite ready for the second shot though...!)
Huge thanks to Butterboom for a great night!
