It's finally here! The best day of the week - TGIF!!! I say this after only working 2 days this week after a jam packed few days in Dubai with mini mouse visiting our fabulous buddy, Ren (we miss you already - sniff sniff boo hoo).

Wrapping up in my recently purchased, Chanel inspired, navy and white star print scarf from Zara. Admittedly I originally snapped it up as I badly burnt my armpits whilst sunbathing after being slack with the old suncream but still I LOVE IT! Perfect for adding that extra sprig of zhush to any outfit...

Listening to Chilled Ibiza whilst reclining on a sun lounger and being served up the most amazingly refreshing drinks! My Dubai fav has to be said mint & lemon - delish. So delish I just had to find the recipe online and share with you all - perfect to cool your thirst on a hot desert night so i'm told... 


Serves 6...

• 8 lemons 
• 3/4 cups of sugar, or to taste 
• 1 teaspoon orange blossom water, or to taste 
• 1/4 cup freshly chopped mint 
• water and ice cubes

Squeeze the juice from the lemons and sweeten to taste with the sugar. Add the orange blossom water and the mint, and stir or shake well together. Pour a little into a tall glass and fill with water or soda and ice. 


Experiencing withdrawal symptoms after being deprived of my Cold Stone ice-cream fix! Literally the most amazing Ice creamery I have ever visited. You get to custom pick your ice cream at every level ... from the flavour of ice cream, to the toppings, to added extras. Before you know it your dream cream is being whipped up and hand mixed before your very own eyes! The focus isn't on the ice cream itself but on the overall experience which I love. The guy that served us was literally using his scoops to juggle the ice cream ball of loveliness in the air. I opted for 'Banana Caramel Crunch' - which was french vanilla ice cream, roasted almonds, real banana chunks and caramel! Check out all the details here.
